In Venice, our boutique hotel is located an easy five minute walk from either the Rialto Bridge or St. Mark’s Square. Clients are based in a restored 13th-Century villa near Florence, with olive grove framed pool.

In Venice clients enjoy the hospitality and peace of a lovely restored family palazzo, located only a five minute walk from either St. Mark’s Square or the Rialto Bridge. The hotel’s exceptional location, close Veniceto the Basilica of Saint John and Saint Paul, offers a lovely shaded courtyard for breakfast or afternoon glass of wine. Our water taxi service, which transports clients from Marco Polo airport to the hotel, brings our clients directly to the front door of the hotel; no worries about public transportation, carrying your bags or getting lost.

Our villas are selected for their comfort, safety and location. Clients enjoy views across the estate’s olive trees and vineyards. The villa hosts clients in private lovely bedrooms, all with en suite baths, numerous gathering places both inside and outside the villa, a large terrace and swimming pool.

Day One: Arrival. Meet and Greet at Venice airport and transfer to hotel in city center. Afternoon at leisure. Welcome dinner. (D)

Day Two: Guided day on the northern lagoon: Torcello and Murano (B)

Day Three: Open morning in Venice. Early afternoon at leisure. Mid-afternoon First Class train transfer (included with tour) to Florence. Private transfer to villa upon arrival. (B,D)

Day Four: Florence with private guide, including Accademia to view the David by Michelangelo. (B,D)

Day Five: Private guided tour family winery in Chianti region of Tuscany. (B,L,D)

Day Six: Lucca with private guide. (B,D)

Day Seven: Siena with private guide followed by free afternoon visit to San Gimignano (B, D)

Day Eight: Montelupo and Tuscan Ceramics, Guided visit to Villa Gamberaia. Lunch and open afternoon in Fiesole, above Florence. (B,D). Dinner with Italian family

Day Nine: Private estates and gardens in hillside villas near Lucca with guide. Lunch at small family owned winery. (B,L,D)

Day Ten: Early departure for Florence city center. Remainder of day free / on your own to explore. Private Italy Tours’ staff will assist with recommendations and museum tickets in advance of arrival this day of the tour. Over night in a central city hotel in Florence.

Day Eleven: Florence for the day – explorations on your own.

Day Twelve: Pisa, Marina di Pisa and Tirrenia, return after lunch with farewell dinner (B,D)
