Greece Itinerary...

Day One: Clients arrive into Athens Eleftherios Venizelos airport
and are met by a private car and driver who will bring them a hotel
located on the Lycabettus hill. Our hotel offers rooms with views
of the Acropolis. The remainder of the day is free to explore the
area around the hotel-one of the most beautiful in Athens. Dinner
is served at the hotel this evening.

Day Two: After a leisurely breakfast and morning, clients leave the
hotel, with guide, and explore the Acropolis, site of the Parthenon,
most famous of all temples in Greece, along with other sites. We
drive on to a private villa southeast of the city where clients settle
in for the remainder of the day-relaxing by the pool or walking
along the shore of the Sounion Sea. Dinner is served at the villa
this evening.

Day Three: Clients return to Athens for a visit to the Temple of
Zeus, the Roma Agora and the Monastiraki marketplace-a hive of
activity with vendors selling everything from rugs to fresh pistachios
(a local delicacy). After time to enjoy lunch on their own, clients are
driven to the Presidential Palace to observe the famous Evzones
guards in their traditional uniforms. We return to the villa for
dinner.

Day Four: This is a leisurely day. Clients enjoy the grounds and
pool/beach of the villa. After lunch, we depart late-afternoon, for
the Temple of Poseidon. Dinner is enjoyed at a seaside restaurant.
We then drive on to the Temple where clients take in a sunset from
the temple’s high ground above the Ionian Sea. Following a truly
remarkable day, we return to the villa for dinner.

Day Five: We depart the villa mid-morning and take clients to a
winery located on the mainland, north of our villa. After a tour and
tasting, we enjoy a memorable lunch before returning to the villa for
the remainder of the day. Dinner is served at the villa this evening.

Day Six: Clients depart the villa and drive along the coastal road for
the Corinth Canal, an incredible engineering feat that allowed the
Aegean Sea to connect directly to the Ionian Sea. We then travel
on and visit the theatre of Epidaurus, famous for its remarkable
acoustics. Our final stop this day is the ancient city of Mycenae
where we visit the archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon.
Nearby Nafplion, a lovely harbor city is our hotel location for our
first night away from the villa. Dinner is on your own this evening.

Day Seven: After breakfast we leave our hotel and visit Ancient
Corinth . After our guide leads the group through this incredible
site, we depart for Olympia, through the central Peloponnesus and
the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Clients remain overnight at a
lovely hotel in Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games. Dinner
is on your own this evening.

Day Eight: In the morning we visit the archaeological site with
the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the ancient stadium and the
archaeological museum. We enjoy the vistas of the plains of Ilia and
Achaia and over the magnificent suspension bridge which crosses
the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. After passing through
the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea, we arrive
in Delphi, where clients enjoy a hotel with views out over the Bay
of Corinth and the valley below the Oracle of Delphi. Dinner is on
your own this evening.

Day Nine: After breakfast, clients meet their guide and explore the
archaeological site and museum at the Oracle of Delphi. This is
one of the most incredible and fascinating sites in all of Greece and
affords clients an up close opportunity to more fully understand the
complexity of the site and the unforgettable treasures displayed in
the museum. We depart Delphi after lunch and head to Kalambaka,
a small town situated at the foot of the astonishing rock formations
of Meteora. Clients enjoy a comfortable hotel and dinner – on their
own – for the evening.

Day Ten: We visit Meteora. Amidst striking scenery, perched on
huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless
monasteries where clients visit exquisite specimens of Byzantine
art. We drive to the Athens airport via Thermopylae. After a brief
flight from Athens to Santorini we check in to a gorgeous hotel on
the island for the remainder of the evening.

Day Eleven: We visit the ancient orthodox church of Santorini near
the town of Fira. After our visit to this gorgeous white and blue
(typical of local architecture) we enjoy lunch at a small café between
Fira and the main harbor of the island. We return to the hotel in
time for a relaxing afternoon and dinner at the hotel.

Day Twelve: Today is set aside to explore the islands near Santorini.
We embark on a chartered luxury yacht and enjoy a six hour cruise.
We sail past Akrotiri, the Red & White Beaches, the Lighthouse,
onto the Volcano, Palia Kameni and the Hot Springs. Our yacht
docks on Thirassia Island where we enjoy a wonderful seafood
dinner. As we return to Santorini, we take in the beauty of yet
another Greek sunset.

Day Thirteen: Today clients visit Thira Museum and Akrothiri with
time to enjoy the “black beach” for a swim or stroll along the edge
of the Ionia Sea. Dinner is served at the hotel this evening.

Day Fourteen: Clients return to Athens, via air, and check into a
hotel near the city center. The remainder of the day is at leisure to
prepare for departure tomorrow. There is a private reception at the
hotel this evening prior to a farewell dinner together.

Day Fifteen: Clients are taken to the Athens airport for their return
trips to the United States.

Discover and explore a world of seclusion and retreat where the worries of travel won't be a burden.
