The Amalfi Coast . . .

Capri and the Amalfi Coast have lured travelers for nearly three thousand years. From the Bay of Naples to the huge flat plain south of Salerno, the coast is one of the most rugged in Europe, offering breathtaking scenery.

The town of Amalfi was once home to one of three Italian marine republics. Situated along the rugged and steep coast south of Naples, the town’s fame drew visitors and, eventually, residents who established some of the most incredible sea-side villages and town on the Italian peninsula. The waters of the Mediterranean wash along cliffs that have welcomed mariners and visitors from the time of Homer right up to the present day.

From our villa’s spectacular location above the coast, clients experience easy day trips to the most famous, as well as less known, sites along the Bays of Naples and Salerno. The world’s most perfectly preserved Doric Temples are located in Paestum. Pompeii and Herculaneum to the north offer some of the most spectacular remains of Roman life to be found anywhere in Italy.

Dinners are prepared at the villa each evening and ensure that clients enjoy the Italian Kitchen with every meal.

Come explore the Amalfi Coast with Private Italy.
